Samsung has unveiled two new eye-catching colors for its Mini S2 portable HDD series. Snow White are Ocean Blue and Sweet Pink, pictured -- and yep, if you look closely enough, that's a sea of hearts lining the case on the right. All other options appear to be the same as when Samsung first unveiled the 2.5-inch drive, with capacity options ranging from 160GB all the way up to 500GB.

Samsung's Verizon-bound Omnia II / I8000 is now one hundred percent official, along with even more official US confirmations for the Omnia Pro B760 (Louvre) slider, Omnia Pro B7320 candybar, and the Omnia Lite B7300. Specs for the Omnia II are just a little different than what we previously heard: 3.7-inch AMOLED resistive touchscreen with WVGA (480 x 800) resolution, EVDO Rev A, 5 megapixel camera, 720 x 480 at 30fps video recording, 2GB to 16GB internal storage with microSD expansion slot, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, AGPS, and TouchWiz 2.0 UI. As for the Lite, we're looking at HSDPA, WiFi, 3 megapixel camera, AGPS, and just as the name suggests, a good likelihood it'll be overshadowed by its more feature-rich brother.

Samsung has posted the full details of its WB1000. The WB1000 is built around a 12.2 megapixel sensor, which is capable of shooting up to ISO 3200 (in reduced 3.2-megapixel mode) and 720p video, which can be smoothed, like SD video, with the camera's built-in optical stabilizer. The lens goes wide, at 24mm-120mm film equivalent focal lengths, and the aperture opens up to a respectable f2.8 at minimum zoom.
The outwardly visible features, though, steal the show. At the back you'll find a 3.0-inch hVGA+ (that's 480×360) OLED screen, and on top there are a set of actual analog gauges, for metering battery charge and SD space. The price is $380.
